After this tutorial, you should be able to know how to clear any borrowed airtime on your MTN SIM card. This loophole was not just discovered recently, it was on six months ago until MTN blocked it, and now, it is back.

How to clear borrowed airtime on MTN

• First of all, dial *344*1# to migrate to the MTN mPulse tariff plan.
• After successfully migrating to the MTN mPulse plan, dial *344#, then reply with 5 and then 8. Type in your SIM details such as your name, D.O.B and so on. Ensure that the details corresponds with the one that MTN have on their database. A message will be sent to your MTN number containing the Self-care pin code which is always a 4-digit number.
• Now, dial *344*5*2*1*1# and add “Child Number” then, the self-care pin and gift N50 to the SIM that is owing and that line must also be on mPulse.

Note: The "Child Number" is the number that is owing the airtime, while the self-care is the pin sent to your MTN SIM after providing your SIM details.

You can always clear your borrowed airtime on MTN using this trick, but be mindful of the fact that at least N50 would be deducted per transaction. Also, we are not to certain if this will last for long, so use it before it gets blocked.
